Police say they're searching for the man who shot and killed a man inside a Prospect-Lefferts Gardens bodega Thursday night.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. at the KHF Bodega on Flatbush Avenue.
Police say the victim, 41-year-old Dwayne Smith, and someone else got into an argument inside the bodega when the victim was shot.
Officers say they found Smith with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He was rushed to the hospital, but he did not survive.
His friends tell News 12 Smith was a great person who was trying to make a difference for the youth in his neighborhood, and that he was a father who loved his children.
Smith, also known as "Stacks," was a filmmaker, writer and director with his own media group, Stack718TV. His family says he also rescued several people in a building fire back in June of 2018.
Police say the suspect was described as wearing a black Adidas sweatsuit and was headed northbound on Flatbush Avenue.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
