The suspect arrested in a chase that left a Stamford police officer hospitalized yesterday was arraigned in court earlier this afternoon. Authorities say 30-year-old Frank Douglas robbed and assaulted someone in Stamford, prompting officer Tory Strauser to chase him in his cruiser and then eventually on foot. Strauser eventually fell from an I-95 overpass attempting to catch the suspect. Douglas faces a series of charges, including assault on a police officer. Prosecutors listed his criminal record, which includes 15 previous arrests. Douglas is being held on $500,000 bond. He is expected back in court June 7.
