A Stamford woman battling cancer experienced a very special Easter.

The Foundation of Hope nonprofit presented 70-year-old Pearl Keitt with a $1,200 check.

Keitt was diagnosed with uterine cancer two years ago, which has spread to her chest. She also recently recovered from triple bypass surgery.

Keitt says she is grateful for the donation, as she is undergoing medical treatment while working full time.

"This Easter is really special for me because it's given me hope to continue my journey and it's shown that there are a lot of people who are caring about me," she says.
