School for the deaf gets a superhero visit

Students at a Bronx school for the deaf got a one-of-a-kind lesson from Ready Girl, the city's own emergency management superhero.
Since October, Ready Girl has been making her way around the city visiting schools and teaching kids how to be prepared for an emergency and what to pack in a go-bag.
While the kids had fun, teachers feel the lesson taught during the presentation is an important one.
"Each season brings new hazards so it's always important to be prepared," said Reema Kharoufa, a teacher at St. Joseph's School for the Deaf
