A Bronx dance studio was created by two moms with the goal of molding great dancers and people.

Located in Westchester Square, the Elite Stars Dance Academy is open to all ages.

Mariah Rodriguez is only 16 years old but has already made a major life change that maybe saved her life. Putting her passion into salsa and hip-hop dancing at the Elite Stars Dance Academy, she tries to set a good example for her brother who's also on the dance team at the academy.

Studio directors Jackie Figueroa and Audrey Rodriguez say that after three years, the academy is home to 175 kids, even some from upstate New York and Long Island.
