62-year-old man robbed at knifepoint at East Tremont Ave. station
Police are looking for a man who robbed a 62-year-old man at knifepoint at a Bronx subway station.
It happened on March 19, at the East Tremont Avenue subway station around 5 a.m.
Police say the 62-year-old man was waiting on the platform for the D train when another man walked up to him, threatened him with a knife and demanded money.
They say the 62-year-old man handed over $120, and the suspect ran away.
Police describe the 25-year-old man as being 5'11" tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
He was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, black sweatpants, white sneakers and carrying a black book bag.
Police say anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
