Borough President Rubin Diaz Jr. is calling out Amazon.com for providing limited service options to the Bronx.
He says Amazon does not offer one-day shipping service to Bronx residents, but does offer the service to every other borough in New York City.
Diaz sent a letter to Amazon Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bezos urging him to bring same-day delivery to the Bronx, noting it is the only New York City borough excluded from the service.
His concerns come after neighborhoods in Chicago and Boston claimed the online retail giant excluded its same-day-service from their largely black and Hispanic communities.
