Weiler Hospital hosted an early Mother's Day celebration Thursday for women whose babies had to be placed in intensive care.
Many of the mothers involved say they want to support the staff in the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit as well as other women whose children are still hospitalized there.
They say they want to offer new moms the same support they experienced.
"I'm very grateful that they're able to come out and bring their babies," says Beverly Young, a nurse, "They can share their stories."
