A Bronx couple was found dead in their Outlook Avenue condo Tuesday in what appeared to be a murder-suicide.
Investigators say family members discovered the bodies of a 39-year-old man and his 29-year-old girlfriend around 1:30 p.m. at their Outlook Point condominium.
Police say the man shot his girlfriend in the head before turning the gun on himself.
Neighbors say the incident was unexpected in such a quiet gated community.
"I would never expect that to happen here," Samuel Hirschfield said. "This is a little scary. It's a gated community. Everyone is always nice and waving hello and everything."
Police have not released the names of the victims.
