The Bronx woman who delivered a baby in the middle of the Cross Bronx Expressway last week sat down with News 12's Reena Roy Wednesday to recount the story of her happy, healthy twins.
Anisha Crockett's newborns, Tavon and Taleah, arrived three months earlier than expected. Tavon's birth was so sudden, it happened before the family could get to a hospital.
With the help of good Samaritans and an ambulance, Crockett, her newborn and her children's father made it to Jacobi Medical Center before the second twin, Taleah, was born.
The twins are still in the hospital because they were born three months premature, but they are doing OK. They're expected to go home by their original due date in August.
