The farmer's market on the Grand Concourse has opened for the season.
Stalls of locally grown vegetables, fruit and homemade baked goods lined the Grand Concourse from 161st Street to 163rd Street outside the Bronx Borough Hall and Courthouse.
The Jazz Foundation even gave a free concert for the event so shoppers could buy a snack and sit back and relax and listen to some music.
It is the third year the Bronx Borough Hall green market has been there. It will be there every Tuesday through November from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The market will even host bilingual nutrition education workshops, among other demonstrations and classes starting in July.
