Man, woman pistol-whip victim, break into Bronx home on Sheridan Ave. and East 163 St.

Police are searching for two suspects who broke into a man's Bronx home and pistol-whipped him. 
It happened on May 29 on Sheridan Avenue and East 163 Street.
Police say the 59-year-old victim reported hearing a knock at the door around 3:30 p.m. They say when he opened the door, a man and a woman were standing there, and the man struck him over the head with a gun before pushing him inside.
According to police, the two suspects struck the man over the head multiple times and demanded money. 
They say the man and woman pushed the victim into the bathroom and took his cellphone, sunglasses and cash.
The man suffered a cut to the back of his head, burn marks to the left of his body and cuts to his ring and index fingers.
He was transported to Bronx Lebanon Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
