It happened on May 29 on Sheridan Avenue and East 163 Street.

Police say the 59-year-old victim reported hearing a knock at the door around 3:30 p.m. They say when he opened the door, a man and a woman were standing there, and the man struck him over the head with a gun before pushing him inside.
