2 women accused of robbing taxi driver in the Bronx

Police are searching for two women Friday wanted for grand larceny after stealing from their taxi driver.
According to officials, the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on May 24 when the women went to pay for their taxi ride with fake money.
Video released shows one woman attempting to pay the taxi driver while the other ran inside of 10-11 Carroll Place near East 164th Street.
Police say they are considering this act as a grand larceny because the suspects stole the 61-year-old driver's cellphone after he questioned the $100 bill used to pay for the trip, saying it was illegal money.
Official say no one was injured, and have asked anyone with information to give them a call.
