Jury selection begins in trial over 2012 slaying
Jury selection began Monday for the trial of a man accused of killing a 35-year-old woman in 2012.
Prosecutors accuse Nasean Bonie of killing Ramona Moore, whose body was discovered in Orange County three years after she went missing from her Jefferson Place apartment.
Moore was Bonie's tenant at the time, according to investigators. Prosecutors say witnesses heard the two arguing the night she disappeared.
Another witness told investigators that they saw Bonie place a trash can in his truck that night, prosecutors say.
Bonie has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and manslaughter.
