Bronx mother: Money orders stolen from USPS mailbox
A Bronx mother says recent money orders meant for her daughter's tuition and her rent payments were stolen from a United States Postal Service mailbox.
Carmen Cordova, who lives on 149th Street, says three money orders were taken, and at least one worth $213 was cashed.
The USPS told News 12 The Bronx that it is "looking into the box in that area. It is an ongoing investigation."
Cordova says she is now using certified mail to track her sent payments.
