Bronx parks to get more funding for security upgrades

City officials announced Saturday that Bronx parks have been allocated funds for security upgrades. 



Bronx Parks Commissioner Rodriguez Rosa made the announcement at Crotona Park, saying that Bronx parks will be better and safer because of the upgrades. 



The upgrades will include $80,000 for new parks enforcement vehicles, $70,000 for enforcement cameras and other funds for community events throughout the summer.
