Stamford house buried in raw sewage
A Stamford homeowner fears his home will have to be torn down after $600,000 worth of damage was caused by raw sewage.
City officials say they are trying to figure out what caused the broken sewer pipe that allowed Tony Cologero's home to be flooded with waste Monday.
Cologero says he was glad to learn today that the city will provide his family with furnished accommodations at no charge.
City officials told News 12 Connecticut today that their risk manager is working hard to figure out a way to help after Cologero's insurance company refused to pay for the damage.
