Some service restored to Danbury line

Metro-North officials say they will run some trains instead of buses on the Danbury line.

Metro-North shut down service on the line after the storm washed out some tracks near Bethel earlier this week.

The rail will run two trains this morning from the Branchville station in Ridgefield to Grand Central. Other trains will run in reverse during the evening commute.

All other trains will continue to be replaced by buses until further notice.
