Funeral plans set for Norwalk soldier

Funeral plans have been set for a Norwalk soldier killed while fighting in Afghanistan.

Officials say Pfc. David Fahey Jr., 22, died last week when his car was hit by a roadside bomb.

Fahey was born in Norwalk and once lived with his grandmother on Fillow Street before enlisting in the Army.

A wake will take place both tomorrow and Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Yorktown Funeral Home in Yorktown, N.Y.

A funeral Mass will be held Thursday morning at Saint Patrick's Church in Yorktown Heights.
