Greenwich fire being investigated as possible arson

A fire last night that nearly destroyed a home on Weaver Street is now being called suspicious and is being treated as possible arson by police.

Witnesses tell News 12 Connecticut they heard a loud crash and saw a car across the street speed away. Three molotov cocktails were spotted by witnesses near the house, though it appears two missed their intended target.

Police are investigating whether the 26-year-old woman in the home at the time may have been targeted.

The woman living in the home wasn't hurt in the fire, and says she doesn't know who could have targeted her home.
