Mom of boy beaten in online video wants more disciplinary action

The Norwalk mother of a boy who was beaten up on a city bus and then learned video of the assault was posted on Facebook is demanding more punishment for the alleged attackers. The fight occurred when the children were on their way to an after-school program at the Norwalk YMCA. The fight broke out and the bus driver then called the police. The kids who were allegedly involved have been temporarily suspended from the program.

Police say they investigated the incident and will not file any charges, although they did ask Facebook to remove the video.

Officials say no one involved in the fight was seriously injured.
