Teens accused in Bridgeport murder arraigned

Two teens accused of murdering a Bridgeport man in front of his 14-month-old child were arraigned in Bridgeport Superior Court today.

Antwone Sharpe, 19, and Lawrence Perry, 18, were arrested yesterday on murder charges after police say they entered Darren Geyer's Wood Avenue home on April 12 and shot and killed him in front of his daughter.

A shouting match started in the courtroom and boiled over into the street after Perry, who is the cousin of the victim, was charged with murder.

Both suspects will be back in court next month.
