Landscaper accused of weed whacker attack in Orange

A landscaper from New Haven is free on bond this morning after police in Orange say he used a weed wacker to attack a co-worker.

Police say 54-year-old Ramiro Avila and the victim were working on Orange Center Road when they got into a fight just after 8:00 a.m. yesterday.

They say things ended with Avila cutting the other man on the head with the trimmer.

They say the victim was taken to Milford Hospital and is expected to be OK.
