Motorcycle accident victims' names released

Stratford police say they're trying to figure out what caused a Sunday night crash that left two people dead and others hospitalized.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has confirmed that Shane Morneau, 32, of Derby, was riding one of the motorcycles and was killed.

His passenger, Lauren LaFlamme, of Seymour, also died. Police say the passenger on the second bike was hospitalized with burns.

The collision happened on Route 110 between Warner Hill Road and Oronoque Lane.

Police say two motorcycles were headed northbound when one of them crashed head-on into a car, causing the other motorcyclist to lose control of the bike.
