Police investigating crash that killed 2

Police are looking into the cause of a late-night motorcycle accident in Stratford that left two people dead and three others injured.

It happened at around 11 p.m. Sunday on Route 110, at the intersection of Main Street and Warner Hill Road.

Investigators say that two motorcycles were traveling northbound and a car was traveling southbound when one of the motorcycles hit the car head-on and caused the other motorcycle to lose control.

Officials have not yet released the conditions of those injured in the crash and are withholding the identities of all involved.

A portion of Route 110, from Oronoque Lane to Warner Hill Road, was closed for several hours Monday morning because of the accident.
