Police in Norwalk say they are trying to track down a man who had apparently suffered from a serious head injury.

Detectives say the man was last seen Thursday evening in the hallway of a public housing complex at 49 Meadow St. A resident had called in to report a man who was bleeding profusely from the head.

Responding officers say they found a trail of blood inside the building but could not find the man.

Police describe him as a Hispanic male in his early 20s who is about 5'6" tall. He was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and black Converse sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call Norwalk police at (203) 854-3000.
