Norwalk woman accused of going on racial tirade

Police say a Norwalk woman faces a long list of charges after going on a racial tirade at a deli.

Police say 44-year-old Kelly Ryan began shouting racial slurs at customers inside the South Main Grocery and Deli after they refused to give her money on Sunday.

They say the racial slurs continued with Ryan shouting the same word at the two African-American officers who responded to the call.

Officials say Ryan was sent to Norwalk Hospital for a mental exam prior to her arraignment.
