New Haven native missing in Libya

A journalist from Connecticut is missing in Libya.

The family of Claire Gillis tells The New Haven Register they haven't heard from her since April 2.

The Register says the organization Human Rights Watch told the family that she and three other journalists were taken.

The paper says the New Haven woman is a freelance writer for USA Today.

Last month, four New York Times journalists, including two Westport natives, were taken captive, but released.
