Police ID body parts as deer

Fairfield police say they've learned that body parts, found along a beach, are that of a deer.

Police say someone walking along the water at Southport Beach on Pequot Avenue yesterday found what appeared to be a heart and another organ in the sand.

After testing the state determined they were in fact from a deer.
