Underage drinking awareness discussion held in Fairfield

Local alcohol servers and sellers attended a responsible drinking event today, where attendees learned about different ways to curb underage drinking.

The workshop was held at Fairfield University and was organized by the Training for Intervention Procedures group, or TIPS.

Group members say the event is held to educate alcohol servers and sellers in behavioral cues and safety precautions in order to prevent underage drinking.
