Police: Stamford man arrested for threatening pregnant girlfriend

Police have arrested a 28-year-old Stamford man after they say he allegedly threatened his pregnant girlfriend with a razor knife early Friday morning.

According to police, Manuel Nazario went into a jealous rage and pulled a knife on his 30-year-old girlfriend at his home on Shippan Avenue. He also slashed his girlfriend's brother in the side of the head when he tried to intervene.

Nazario is also being held on immigration charges, as detectives say there's a possibility he may be in the country illegally.
