Stamford police seek suspect in drive-by shooting

Stamford police say they are continuing their investigation into a drive-by shooting which occured just around the corner from a nearby school.

The shooting left one man shot in the arm Tuesday night.

Police say the incident took place between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Cove Road. According to investigators, someone rolled down their car window and fired a gun, hitting the victim in his left arm as he walked with his friend.

Police say they're especially concerned because the shooting occurred along a busy stretch of road while it was still light out.

Stamford police ask anyone with information about the shooting to call 203-977-4417.
