Greenwich businesses bracing for losses

Some Greenwich business owners say they're bracing for big financial losses as the town gets ready to detour traffic away from their stores.

The town is planning to close the Palmer Hill Road bridge next month to replace the concrete pavement, a job officials say is long overdue.

Many business owners like Mauricio Zapata, of LaBella's Fine Wines, say the detour will cut off traffic in both directions and hurt them financially during a busy time of year.

The detour and bridge closure is scheduled between July 11 and July 22.
