Mountain lion spotted in Greenwich still at large

Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) officials say that they now believe the cat-like animal recently spotted in Greenwich is a mountain lion.

Officials say they've used paw prints and a blurry photo to determine it is likely a mountain lion that escaped from a zoo or possibly someone's home. The animal is reportedly 6 feet long and may weigh anywhere between 80-180 pounds. The Relay for Life event set for this weekend has been moved due to the sightings.

The DEP and the local conservation group ask you to contact them with any helpful information.
