Fairfield man accused of threatening to kill wife
A Fairfield man appeared in court today for allegedly waving a gun and threatening to kill his wife.
Police say Jermaine Johnson, 25, was arrested yesterday after police found a loaded gun inside his home.
Sgt. Sue Lussier says Johnson waited for his wife to come home to her apartment last night, armed with a semi-automatic handgun. Lussier says Johnson had also previously threatened his wife with a knife.
Officers say Johnson is charged with threatening and criminal possession of a firearm. His bond has been set at $500,000.
