Death penalty verdict tossed in Bridgeport triple murder

A judge has overturned a death penalty verdict for a man convicted in a Bridgeport triple murder.

Richard Roszkowski was convicted in 2009 of the execution style murders of Holly Flannery, her daughter Kylie, and Milford landscaper, Thomas Gaudet in September of 2006.

A jury decided he should be put to death but that verdict was overturned.

Yesterday, a superior court judge ordered Roszkowski to undergo a competency examination to determine whether he should face another death-penalty hearing.
