Metro-North to bill woman struck by train

Metro North says it's billing the Milford woman whose car was hit by a train over the weekend for damages to the train's engine.

The accident happened at this private crossing on Herbert Street in Milford Sunday afternoon.

A spokeswoman for the rail says an investigation found the train blew its horn, but Vicki Buker-Besse failed to stop.

Buker-Besse's family denies that the train blew its horn.

Both she and her 8 year old daughter were hospitalized after the crash, but their family says they're back at home.
