Stratford man arrested during the storm

A Stratford man who wanted to stay on his boat and ride out Tropical Storm Irene now faces several charges.

Police say David Zaccaria was arrested Saturday after a confrontation with an official at the Port Milford marina.

They say Zaccaria shoved the person to the ground after being told he had to leave.

They say he then poured gas onto the dock and into the water and threatened to light it with a flare gun.
