Flooding problems remain in Bridgeport

Flooding is still a serious issue in several sections of Bridgeport today.

The south side of the city was hit hard.

A few people were still in one shelter last night while many headed home to assess the damage.

Bridgeport officials are asking the public to stay away from Seaside Park because of damaged roads, sidewalks and seawalls.

More than 35,000 people are still without power in the city.
