Gov. Malloy: 3 people missing in CT waters

Three people are missing after going out in highly flooded waters in Bristol and East Haven, and Gov. Dannel Malloy (D-CT) is urging citizens to stay away from bodies of flooded water.

The three missing people, whose names have not been released, were believed to be canoeing and tubing. One was reported missing in Bristol, and two in East Haven.

At his press conference, Malloy stressed that citizens need to use common sense and stay away from all bodies of water at this time, as many of the large ones in the state are flooded from Tropical Storm Irene. "There is no reason to be on the water at this time," said Malloy.
