9/11 CT Remembers: Photographer reflects on Twin Towers project

As the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11 nears, a photographer from Redding says he is in the process of creating a large-scale exhibit that is centered around the Twin Towers.

The project is titled "Genius Loci," Latin for "Guardian of the Spirit of the Place."

Charles Moretz says he spent 20 years photographing the Twin Towers before the terror attacks nearly 10 years ago.

Moretz says the project was given that title because it is meant to guard the spirit of the place, so it will always be available for people to participate in, reflect on and ultimately be inspired by.

The Genius Loci Project is currently in its conceptual phase.
