Metro-North may shut down for Irene

Irene is expected to cause some massive travel trouble.

New York City officials say they're preparing to shut down the nation's largest mass transit system tomorrow ahead of Hurricane Irene.

Metro-North says there may be partial or a full shutdown of service on all lines and branches.

Customers should check their website frequently and consider the impact of this storm when making travel plans through the weekend.
