Westport to open emergency shelters

Westport and other municipalities in southwestern Connecticut are preparing for the potentially hazardous weather by opening emergency shelters starting tomorrow.

First Selectman Gordon Joseloff is warning that residents near the shoreline and along rivers may need to evacuate and is urging them to prepare their homes as best they can for flooding.
