3 arrested in Wilton home robbery

Three men are under arrest for allegedly robbing a Wilton home, and police are commending the teen who lives there for quickly calling them and foiling the robbery.

According to police, Kenneth Balfore, 46, broke into the home on Kent Hill Lane yesterday morning and took some electronics and a piggy bank filled with money. The boy's mother said he ran into the bathroom with the phone and locked the door, like she told him to do if he ever felt scared when home alone. While inside, he called his parents and then the police.

The teen said as soon as the police arrived and turned their sirens on, he saw Balfore run out of the home, where he was arrested. Also arrested were Phillip Paoletta, 57, and Gary Benson, 40, who were allegedly waiting in the getaway car.
