Connecticut-born soldier killed in Afghanistan
Gov. Dannel Malloy (D-Conn.) ordered all flags be flown at half-staff today to honor a Connecticut-born solider killed in Afghanistan.
Military officials say 26-year-old Sgt. Edward Frank II. was one of five soldiers who died last Thursday when a bomb went off near the vehicle they were riding in.
The governor's office says Frank was born in Hartford and his unit served out of Fort Drum, N.Y.
Frank's wife and family live in New York.
