Greenwich man killed in I-95 crash

Police say a Greenwich man has died after he lost control of his car in a construction zone on I-95.

Investigators say Michael Defruscio, 24, was driving his new Infiniti coupe southbound near exit 3 when he hit a traffic cone and then smashed into an electric sign trailer.

Police say two other passengers were hospitalized, but are expected to recover.

Traffic was snarled for miles on the highway as emergency crews worked to clear the wreckage.

Police say the accident remains under investigation.
