Police: Man, woman found shot to death in Norwalk

Police are investigating a double shooting in Norwalk that left a man and a woman dead inside a car this morning.

According to investigators, the victims were discovered along Avenue B at around 8 a.m. after a neighbor reported a suspicious car. Police say the 911 caller also reported hearing possible gunshots.

Police have not yet released the names of the victims, but family members on the scene say the woman is 22-year-old Raquita Smalls. The man's family would not comment on his identity.

Officials say the female victim was in the driver's seat, and there were bullet holes in the car door.

Avenue B remained closed for hours while police investigated the killings, but it has since reopened.
