Problem car no longer disrupting Westport farmers' market

After weeks of frustration for the Westport Farmers' Market, it appears one inconsiderate driver finally got the message.

Organizers say a car with New York plates had been parking in the middle of the Imperial Avenue lot each Thursday morning, ignoring the no parking signs and fouling up the weekly market.

Last week, they came up with an idea to get a message to the driver.

For just 50 cents, market-goers could buy a post it note to write a message and let the driver know how they felt in a way that didn't damage the car, only made it messy.

It apparently worked as the car was not there this morning.

Organizers say the Post It notes also helped them raise $40 for the market.
