Memorial marks anniversary of Hartford Distributors shooting

A memorial was held in Manchester today, marking the one-year anniversary of the fatal shooting at Hartford Distributors.

Police say 34-year-old Omar Thornton went on a rampage after being fired, killing eight coworkers and then himself. During the service, eight steel pillars were dedicated in memory of the victims.

Gov. Dannel Malloy (D-Conn.) and Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) were both on hand for the ceremony.
