United Way raising money to save stabbed dog

The United Way of Milford is asking for donations to help save a dog that was stabbed 13 times during a murder-suicide.

Veterinarians at Snowflake Pet Center say the dog, Rocky, is traumatized after most likely witnessing the crime.

Vets says Rocky hasn't been eating and has lost a lot of weight.

The United Ways says money they are collecting will also benefit the dog's owner, Eric Fox who lost both his parents in last week's domestic violence incident.

Fox is a freshman at the University of Connecticut, studying veterinary medicine
